Blue Ivy Celebrates 10th Birthday Alongside Grandma Tina Knowles — See A New Photo Of Beyoncé's Daughter All Grown Up!
Beyoncé and Jay Z's first born has hit double digits!
On January 7, their daughter Blue Ivy turned 10 years old, and her grandma Tina Knowles marked the occasion by sharing a new photo of the birthday girl on Instagram.
The photo of the duo was snapped as the sun was setting on a beach, and Blue looks super mature in a black blazer, white pants and white sneakers. She also donned a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses and rocked a straight hairstyle.
"My beautiful Talented and super smart Grandaughter Blue Ivy turned 10 today!" the caption began. "God it seemed like yesterday you came into the world running things."
The matriarch, who celebrated her 68th birthday on January 4, called the Grammy winner her "Capricorn twin."
"I prayed for her to be born on my birthday but she did what she always does she came when she got good and ready 😂three days later but we still share the bond," noted Bey's mother. "She reminds me that 'Grandma you are acting just like a Capricorn.' Blue gives the best advice like a grown person I sometimes forget that she is so young!!!😂!😂."
The businesswoman ended her caption by calling Blue "one of those rare gifted people that can do everything well!"
"God Blessed me the day you were born!" she gushed. "My Sweet, Beautiful Baby Blue❤️❤️❤️🎂🎂💥Happy Birthday 🎂❤️🙏🏽."
Gabrielle Union, Octavia Spencer and Vivica A. Fox left their well-wishes on the post, while Yvette Nicole Brown commented, "No way she’s that tall now!!!"
Blue has certainly come into her own over the past few years. Aside from modeling in her superstar mom's Ivy Park ads, last year, at 9 years old, she became the second youngest star to receive a Grammy, as "Brown Skin Girl" (a track featured on Bey's Lion King: The Gift album) won Best Music Video.
When the "Halo" crooner took home her own trophy for Best R&B Performance, she gave a shout-out to the victorious tot.
"I know my daughter is watching. Blue, congratulations – she won a Grammy tonight. I’m so proud of you," the mom-of-three stated. "I’m so honored to be your mommy..."
