Carla Hall Is 'Into This Decade' Ahead of Her 60th Birthday: 'I Want to Lean Into the Wisdom I've Gained'
Carla Hall is excited for to continue aging.
“I’m all into this decade. I want to shout, ‘Look! I’m 60! I’m excited!’ ” the star told People, adding that she isn't into Botox.
"I don't judge people who do it. It's just not going to happen for me," she added. “I want to lean into the wisdom that I feel that I’ve gained. I don't care that I have a wrinkle. I don't care that when I smile, you may see some crow's feet, or you may see something in between my brows, laugh lines. Because my laugh lines means I laugh. My dimple is getting deeper as I age, and I'm okay with that."
Part of the TV personality's routine includes a simple product.
"I have a really good girlfriend, Lorrie King, and she created Caire Beauty because her mother was going through chemo, and her skin was really dry. It helps menopausal skin. I'm like, 'Girl, I'm in," Hall shared.
Hall will also make sure to get facials.
"I've been getting them since I was twenty-four. That's the one thing that I will spend money on," she added.
"One of the things that I realized was, I had to really take care of my skin because makeup was going on top of it. So before I do a big job, I'm putting a mask on. Because again, I just don't want all of the makeup and everything going into my skin," she continued of adding a mask into her regimen.
"I have knobby knees. If you bump into my elbow, it's going to hurt. I have big feet, I have buggy eyes. There are certain features I have accepted and certain [ones] that I like. I like my one dimple, my niece has the other one, so together we have a pair," she gushed of her appearance.
As for what her next act looks like, Hall is up for anything.
“I think it’s race car driving,” she quipped. “I told that to [NASCAR driver] A.J. Allmendinger when I met him. I really feel like if you don’t challenge yourself, you’re never going to grow."
