Charli XCX Goes From Party Attire To A Laidback Look While Promoting Her New Album 'Crash': Photos
Singer Charli XCX is proving that she can rock any look! On March 17, the night before her fifth album, Crash dropped, she stepped out into two ensembles: one was a funky LBD and the other was a more casual graphic tee and pants.

For her first look, the Grammy nominee wore a long-sleeved little black dress that featured lace overlay and a feathery hem. Her only accessories were her black boots and small green purse.
Unlike her past discs, the "Boom Clap" crooner really "wanted this album to be about me, mostly," she told Vulture.
"I couldn’t resist and I did end up working with RinaSawayama, featured on 'Beg for You,' and Caroline [Polachek] and [Christine and the Queens], which I absolutely love. [But] I never really saw this as a big collaboration project, like I did with Pop 2 or Charli," she explained. "The people who are on it, they feel so real and tangible to me, because I know them at this point so well, particularly Chris and Caroline. I know this sounds cheesy, but it really does feel like collaborating with close friends instead of other musicians who I love."
She eventually changed into a pair of black pants and a pink cropped tee that read, "They don't build statues of critics." She posted a photo of herself wearing the shirt on Instagram, which she captioned, "They don’t 🤷♀️ but thanks for all the hot reviews anyways 💕."
The week after the album dropped, Billboard reported that it was likely to become her first-ever number one work on the U.K. charts! She mentioned the potential feat on Instagram, declaring she'll "die" if it ends up in the top slot.
"Thank you so much for the love for this album!!!!! i had the best week in the uk last week," she continued in her post. "Thank u @amazonmusicuk for throwing a sexy release party and thank u @rinasonline for jumping out of the crowd and helping me sing the most chaotic version of beg for you ever!! 🩸i really felt the loveeeeee!!!"
