Look at those ... genes! Christie Brinkley modeled alongside her two daughters, Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Alexa Ray Joel, for 's newest "Foundations" campaign.
The company launched the campaign, which celebrates individuality, so that women can always feel confident and beautiful in their everyday lives.
What's even better is that the apparel line is opening up the campaign to consumers by giving them the opportunity to also nominate their own foundational relationship but submitting their nominations to the site for a chance to have their photo and story be featured in the "Foundations" campaign later this year. An added bonus: for each nomination received, NYDJ will donate an article of clothing to a non-profit partner.
“My favorite place to be is with my family,” the model, 67, said in the press release about the collection, which "was inspired by the powerful bonds between women everywhere." “I’m happy whenever I’m with them.”
Fans even got to see behind-the-scenes footage from the ladies' photoshoot. "If beauty doesn't start in your heart and soul and include kindness, then it's not lasting beauty," Brinkley shared.
"To me, beauty is being creative," the singer-songwriter explained. "It's freedom of expression. My mom really does have that Bohemian spirit that she imparted to me and my siblings."
The mom-of-three's advice to her kids is simple: "Bloom where you're planted. "No matter what's going [on] in your life, there's always something that you can appreciate about it."
Ultimately, Brinkley-Cook says these jeans "are a great middle ground" if you don't want to wear sweatpants anymore.
"My favorite NYDJ look has to be the faded jean with the slit in the ankle," Brinkley said. "These jeans hold you in in all of the right places without ever squeezing you."
"If I can move, if I can dance, if I can run, if I can do things in my clothes, I'm happy," Brinkley-Cook exclaimed.
The photoshoot was a dream come true for Brinkley since she "love[s] working" with her daughters, she told Entertainment Tonight.
"I love doing anything with them. My favorite place to be is with my family," she said. "I'm happy whenever I'm with them. It doesn't matter if I'm working or eating or watching a movie with them, I'm just happy!"
