Courteney Cox, 60, Pokes Fun at Her Wellness Routine While Crawling Out of a Freezer in a Face Mask and Bikini
Courteney Cox is finally telling the world how she maintains her youthful looks — kind of!
The Friends alum took to Instagram on Sunday, July 7, to share a hilarious video of her wellness routine nearly a month after she turned 60 years old.
"I just had a birthday. Don’t love the number, but look, we have no choice. You just got to do the best you can," Cox said in the clip as she showed herself doing numerous exercises.
In another part of the video, the sitcom star rocked a tiny black bikini and face mask while pretending to exit what looks to be an industrial size freezer. "What, it’s cryotherapy?” she sarcastically said.
"It’s just a number, you’re in great shape!" one adoring fan penned in the comments section.
"You say that age proudly girl because 60 has NEVER looked better!" a second wrote.
"WOW look at your mobility, flexibility coming out of the freezer 🥶AWESOME 👏👏👏," a third chimed in.
Cox has continued to prove again and again that she only gets better as the years go by. "The place I am in right now is the happiest I’ve ever been. There’s a lot of things that are not great about getting older, but there’s a lot of great things and that is being in a place where I love working. I try harder now at things. I care more. I love directing. I love acting. I love producing,” she gushed in a 2023 interview.
“I feel like I’ve been doing it long enough that I actually know what I’m doing and then I can excel. I can be better. I take more chances. There’s just something about the confidence of time, of doing something so long, I probably love it more now than I ever have," the Scream actress added.
Reflecting on what her time in Hollywood has taught her, she credited Friends for setting the tone for how she's navigated her career since then. "Friends taught me the importance of camaraderie and really sticking together. These friendships were at the most important time in my life, and we went through so many things together," Cox said.
"And it just taught me about being there for each other — I know, that’s the song: ‘I’ll be there for you.’ But it’s true. It was so nice to work with people that could bounce ideas off each other. Everybody wanted the best for everybody. There was no jealousy, it was only, ‘Let’s make the best show we can, and let’s support each other in this,'" the brunette beauty explained.
