Dakota Fanning feels confident about entering a new decade!

“I don't know what it is, it's just like some of the most happiest,” the actress, who turned 30 in February, told People. “I'm sort of having to do crazy things like schedule-wise and really busy, but I'm totally fine with it. Nothing's bothering me.”

Dakota Fanning said she is loving being in her 30s.

Going forward, the blonde beauty is taking more time to be present.

“I think I just was really focusing on being grateful for what I do have, rather than constantly ruminating on what I don't have yet," she shared.

"And really just focusing on the present and taking advantage of this time in my life and enjoying every moment of it, and instead of being like, ‘Oh, when's that going to happen, when's that going to happen, when's that going to happen?’” Fanning added. “Just being like, ‘Oh my God, how exciting that hasn't happened yet,’ and kind of reframing it in that way.”

The star is also thinking of what the future holds.

Fanning has been in the spotlight from a young age, and she's grateful she came out pretty much unscathed.

“It’s such a different experience,” she told PORTER of being a child star today. “I hate to reduce it to social media, but that’s the biggest societal difference — and I think we’re still figuring out how to use it in the right way. I’m grateful I didn’t have to contend with that; there was already enough going on.”

Dakota Fanning recently spoke about having kids.

Additionally, the Uptown Girls alum said she's even thinking about what the future holds for her.

“Being an actor is a huge part of my identity,” Fanning added. “I don’t know who I really am without it. But I also have a desire to set up my life and career so that I always have a choice. Having kids is probably more important to me than anything, even being an actor. If somebody said I had to choose, I would choose having kids. I’m one of those people who has always felt that pull.”

"I'm trying to push myself to keep saying yes to things that make me uncomfortable, to keep going to places for long periods of time that maybe I'm scared to do because — God willing — one day, it won't be as easy," she continued.
