Dunkin' & Harpoon Brewery Have Teamed Up To Release 3 Beers Inspired By Maple Donuts, Blueberry Matcha & Dark Roast Coffee
Dunkin' and Harpoon Brewery are celebrating the beginning of fall a little bit early! While the brands have previously collaborated on the Pumpkin Spiced Latte beer, this year, they're introducing a trio of fun new flavors: Blueberry Matcha IPA, Maple Crème Blonde Ale and Midnight American Porter.
"We have elevated our collaboration with Harpoon this fall with three new beers, all made with Dunkin's iconic coffee, donuts and matcha tea," Brian Gilbert, Vice President of Retail Business Development at Dunkin' shared. "Beer, matcha, coffee and donuts, we can't think of a better combination."
The new drinks, as well as the classic Pumpkin flavor, are available in a variety 12-pack starting in September.
The Harpoon Dunkin' Blueberry Matcha IPA (ABV: 6.6%) is inspired by Dunkin's Blueberry Matcha Latte. "Brewed with blueberries, matcha, and a blend of traditional and modern hops, it's both tea-like and tropical with bright, juicy notes of mixed berry," the descriptions teases.
Next up is the Harpoon Dunkin' Maple Crème Blonde Ale (ABV: 5.5%), which is brewed with actual Dunkin' donuts and maple syrup, boasting a "malty, not-too-sweet base."
The Harpoon Dunkin' Midnight American Porter (ABV: 6%) is "brewed with Dunkin's new Midnight Roast coffee for some extra roasty aromatics, dark chocolate notes, and an espresso-like finish."
And just like last year, the Harpoon Dunkin' Pumpkin Spiced Latte Ale (ABV: 5.2%) is "brewed with Dunkin' coffee, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, and lactose for a delightfully autumnal beer that's equal parts creamy, roasty, pumpkin-y, and spiced. "
To celebrate the launch, the Harpoon Brewery in Boston is holding an event on August 30 that offers visitors a free Dunkin' donut that's filled with a Harpoon IPA jelly and topped with candied malt crumble. You can also purchase the seasonal variety pack of beers on location.
"Our collaborations with Dunkin' are highly anticipated by our fans each fall, so this year we wanted to help them crack a cold one open just a little earlier," explained Harpoon's CEO and co-founder Dan Kenary. "Our Dunkin' Walk-Thru experience takes everything we love about ordering Dunkin' at a traditional Drive-Thru with the addition of a first taste of our new beers."
