Florence Pugh Dishes On Confidence, Finding Her 'Groove' In Hollywood
Last month, Florence Pugh shocked the masses when she stepped out in a completely sheer top, but the actress didn't do so to get people talking — she was just feeling herself.
"I was comfortable with my small breasts," she stated. "And showing them like that — it aggravated [people] that I was comfortable. It was just alarming, how perturbed they were."
"They were so angry that I was confident, and they wanted to let me know that they would never wank over me," she added. "Well, don’t."
The actress, 26, has grown just as self-assured when it comes to her career: after nabbing roles in movies like Midsommar and Little Women, she became a fan favorite in Black Widow, and she's now front and center in the upcoming thriller Don't Worry Darling.
"I feel like I am now getting into this groove in my career where I’m knowing what I can take, what I give, and what I will not accept anymore," the star stated.

In fact, the blonde beauty spoke up after the trailer for Don't Worry Darling released, as all anyone could talk about were glimpses of her and costar Harry Styles' saucy moments.
"When it’s reduced to your sex scenes, or to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone, it’s not why we do it. It’s not why I’m in this industry," explained Hugh. "Obviously, the nature of hiring the most famous pop star in the world, you’re going to have conversations like that. That’s just not what I’m going to be discussing because [this movie is] bigger and better than that. And the people who made it are bigger and better than that."
The British actress is excited for audiences to see what the movie is all about, though she'll only give a vague hint of what to expect.
"I love playing a distressed woman," she confessed. "I guess all of my movies have that element of women being forced into a corner, forced into an opinion, forced into a way of life. And then finally, something cracks."
Pugh spoke to Harper's Bazaar.
