'Focus On Making Yourself Happy': Khloé Kardashian Reveals The Advice She Would Give Her Younger Self
Khloé Kardashian is offering some words of wisdom.
On July 26, the reality star took to Twitter to interact with some of her adoring fans, and while some of her responses were playful or disclosed her current TV obsessions, the mom-of-one got serious when asked, "what advice would you give to your past self?"
"I have so much advice to give to my past self but 1thing would be live for yourself," she replied. "Try not to live up to every1 else’s expectations especially when they don’t live that way."
"Focus on making yourself happy," added Kardashian. "The rest is too much pressure &probably won’t matter in the grand scheme."
The Good American founder has had many of her ups and downs play out over the 20 seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but she insisted that she doesn't regret sharing her personal life with the public.
Though cameras capturing her every move can come with consequences, she's grateful that it's given her the opportunity to become a role model for others.
"For me, it's such an honor that people feel so connected, and I don't take that lightly. And I definitely tried to be as respectful and aware of that as possible, but at the same time, it's also a great deal of pressure too," she previously explained. "So as grateful and honored as I think [me and my sisters] are, we know there's a great responsibility that people are looking up to us at the same time."
"I think that's why I chose to be so vulnerable as much as I could tried to live a very honest life, both on camera and off-camera and hopefully people respected that even if I'm criticized for mistakes that I've made," she continued. "I hope people can walk away and say, at least she was true to what she was doing, and I wasn't putting it on a show for anybody, if that makes sense."
Kardashian and her brood starred on their E! reality show from 2007 to 2021.
