Exclusive: Hannah Brown Has 'Continued to Grow and Change' Since Appearing on Reality TV: 'A Wild Ride'

Hannah Brown has had many stints on reality TV — The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Dancing With the Stars, Special Forces: World's Toughest Test and more — but she's never put on an act for the cameras.

"I think I tried for a hot minute to try to be what I thought I needed to be, but I'm really bad at that! I don't need to be an actress because I don't know how to pretend to be something I'm not. Leaning into that was the only way I was going to survive and connect with people. When I started on reality TV, I was 24 years old. I remember my first season of The Bachelor, and I've continued to grow and change and evolve since then," the 29-year-old exclusively tells Morning Honey while talking about partnering with Command™ Brand to highlight how a delulu mindset is the secret to design happiness, allowing college students and young adults to fearlessly express their design dreams by organizing and decorating their space to reflect exactly who they are.

It's been a hot minute since the blonde beauty, who is engaged to Adam Woolard, has been on the small screen, but she doesn't mind. "This season of life has been special because I haven't been on reality TV for a while, and I've come back to myself in a way — not that I ever left," she shares.

2024 has been exciting for the Alabama native, as she released her first novel, called Mistakes We Never Made, in addition to focusing on her passions. "Having my first novel come out this year has really aligned with where I'm at today. That's my secret sauce — being able to truly find alignment in where I'm at. I'm so thankful for opportunities that allow me to do that — whether that is reality TV when I'm kind of coming into my own for the first time or right now just being really grounded in who I am."

"It's truly been a wild ride," the star says of the past few years and rising to fame. "I've had so many life experiences that I could never have dreamt of, and with that comes having to figure out how to navigate that and stay true to who you are. Sometimes you miss the mark. I've lived a lot of life in such a short amount of time that has helped me evolve."

"Even in a year, the way I view things then versus now has changed so much," she continues. "I've been in a bit of a unique situation where people have been able to watch me change, and sometimes it's hard because people who connected with me at 24 years old might still see me that way. But I'm about to be 30, and in that time, I lived a lot of life, like I said. It's important for me to continue to show up as I am in that season and to be able to have people go on that journey with me. I'm grateful for every life lesson that has brought me to where I am now."

Brown has been booked and busy lately, as she's trying to plan a wedding "at some point," she jokes. "We haven't gotten very far into it, but I'm hoping in these next few months I have some things actually going. I'm also working on my second novel, which is really exciting. I'm really pumped about that. This time in my life has been really sweet because it feels like everything's kind of coming together, and I'm getting to put all my energy into things I'm really passionate about."

But Brown is all about embracing the unknown. "Sometimes opportunities come up, and I'm always open for whatever life there is for me. I'm super excited for what unfolds!" she exclaims.

Since the book author, who is an interior design enthusiast, is constantly dreaming big, it makes sense she partnered with Command™ Brand to provide décor inspiration this Back to College season.
