Now that Hannah Brown isn't being followed by the cameras 24/7, the Bachelorette star doesn't feel the need to get all dolled up everyday. Instead, she sticks to the "no makeup look," which she shared with her fans in a video on her YouTube channel.
Since she participated in pageants growing up, she "had to learn how to do stage makeup," but she admitted "that wasn’t the best look." Now that those days are behind her, she sticks to a more basic and natural look.
"I feel like my face is one of those faces that look better with less makeup," she noted as she brought out her cosmetics stash. Before Brown starts her routine, she warns viewers that she's probably not doing the "techniques" correctly.
First, Brown applies an Ilia primer to her face. She follows up with a "skin tint" by the same brand, which is like a lightweight foundation.
She then takes the applicator and puts a few drops on all areas of her face, simply rubbing the product in with her fingertips.
Brown noted that even after putting on skin makeup she'll sometimes still have "redness" on her face since she can struggle with rosacea, but it's something that she's learned to brush off. "I'm OK with a little discoloration," she explained. "It's normal." She then uses a Nars concealer under her eyes, in between her eyebrows and on the sides of her nose, blending it in with a brush.
Next up is a Kosas bronzer, which she applies to her face with a finger in the famous "3" motion, following up with a blending brush. "I don't contour my face, because honestly, I don't know how," she confessed.
The reality star then adds a multi-use Ilia stick in two pink shades to her cheeks. Since she "naturally" has good brows that "grow really fast," she just quickly goes over them with brush.
She uses three shades from a Charlotte Tilbury neutral eye shadow palette on her lids, and lightly dabs it on her lower lash line as well. Her next step is what she refers to as her "little trick." The blonde babe shows off a green Marc Jacobs eyeliner and then uses it to line her bottom waterline. "During the day, the light catches the inside color and it reflects off the green in my eye and my eyes look so much greener," she explained.
The bubbly beauty admits she finds it "annoying" to curl her eyelashes, but she does it anyway, following up with a MAC mascara. For the final steps, she uses a lipliner "as a lipstick" and then adds a layer of Chanel's powder liquid product as well as a Glossier gloss.
Last but not least, she takes a big fluffy brush and dips it in a loose powder, applying to her T-zone. She then adds some highlighter to the top of her cheeks and a few spritzes of a setting spray.
After wrapping, she realized she did a little more than her typical "everyday" look, but she decided to add some "extra" flair since she was heading to dinner with boyfriend Adam Woolard.
"If I offended you because I don't know how to do makeup, sorry not sorry!" she declared of her routine. "It's light, it's easy. I think it still shows I look like me and I think that's important."
