Bumpin' Along ... To The Bank! Here's How Much Pregnant Celebs Can Earn From Social Media Posts Before & After Giving Birth
Everyone knows that celebs can score big bucks through social media posts, but nothing ups that paycheck more than having a baby bump!
Less than two months into 2022, big names like Rihanna, Shay Mitchell and Nicky Hilton have all revealed they're expecting a bundle of joy, prompting the research team at SlotsUp to figure out how much a star can earn from social media throughout their pregnancy.
In order to calculate the final numbers, researchers looked at how much an individual makes on average per sponsored post and correlated that with "how much engagement their posts received before and after their pregnancy announcements."
Scroll down to find out who made the list, which analyzed celeb baby announcements over the past several years.
Beyoncé
Coming in at the top slot was none other than Queen B! While the mom-of-three used a performance at the 2017 VMAs to reveal she and hubby Jay Z were expecting their first child, 10-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, she posted an artsy portrait in 2017 to unveil that she was pregnant with twins Rumi and Sir.
"We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over," she captioned her post. "We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters."
Cardi B
Taking the second slot was the "Money" rapper, who's total came to $839,679. She shared the news of her second pregnancy this past July by posting a photo in which she wore nothing but a belly cast.
"#2! ♥️ @offsetyrn," she wrote with the photo, tagging her husband, Offset. The pair welcomed a baby boy in September and also have 3-year-old daughter Kulture.
Rihanna
The number three ranking belonged to the Fenty Beauty founder, who set the internet ablaze when she stepped out last month in NYC wearing an unbuttoned winter coat, showcasing her growing belly. The mom-to-be, who stands to make $768,593 per post, posed for the photos alongside beau A$AP Rocky, and a few days later, she posted her own photo on Instagram.
The snap showed the star lifting up her jersey to reveal her bump, captioning the photos, "how the gang pulled up to Black history month."
Rounding out the top five is Love Island's Olivia and Alex Bowen, with a combined total of $67,430, and Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who's expecting with Andre Gray and can earn around $55,236.
