While those on the East Coast are staying in or shoveling snow off the sidewalk, Jennifer Garner and her brood are embracing the sunny weather in California.

The star stepped out in a black and white striped shirt, black knee-length skirt and black shoes in addition to a face mask, while Samuel looked ready to hit the water in a gray tee and bright bike shorts.
Garner and ex-husband Ben Affleck also share daughters Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 12.
The Alias alum is glad that her children have been able to resume their extracurricular activities, as they were forced to stay home during the earlier months of the pandemic.
"This has been such a hard year for moms. We've had to watch our kids be home, miss out on things," she explained. "It is one thing to miss out on something as an adult, but to watch your kids miss something they have looked forward to or just how hard it has been to see them isolated and on Zoom every day..."
The mother-son duo had a quick chat before the tot joined his pals.
Garner and her kids have a close bond, but she admitted that they aren't impressed by her Hollywood status. "It is not a positive to be me," she insisted. "Someone who people would think, 'Oh, how cool to have that person as a mom.' No."
Aww! The pair had one last hug before departing ways.
The Elektra lead feels lucky that she has such "lovely" children, telling reporters, "I have to say, I have it pretty easy as far as that goes."
While the mom-of-three enjoys getting dolled up for red carpets, she usually sticks to a very minimal makeup routine.
"We can almost all wear less than we think because, to me, I don't want my kids or people to only see the actor version of me that is perfectly made up by brilliant artists and think that's how I look," she explained. "I want to look normal and I want to normalize looking normal. I always have felt really strongly about that. And then if I'm dressed up, I like that my kids are like, 'Woo, look at my mom!'"
