The stars of the silver screen gathered in New York City on November 29 for the 2021 Gotham Awards. The annual ceremony honors indie movies and television shows, which helps bring more awareness to the small-budget projects.

The Spencer lead wowed in a strapless column gown by August Getty Atelier. Stewart was one of the night's honorees, as she was given the Performer Tribute honor.
"We are tremendously proud to honor Kristen Stewart, whose superb performance as Princess Diana in Spencer marks yet another artistic peak in a remarkable career which spans some of the most successful studio films and iconic independent films of the past two decades," Gotham Film & Media Institute's executive director Jeffrey Sharp stated.
Julianne Moore
The red-headed actress added some edged to her black suit with a silver metallic top underneath. Moore, who worked with Stewart in Still Alice, presented her costar with her trophy that night.
Maggie Gyllenhaal
The actress wore an eye-catching sequined gold gown, which she topped with a long black coat.
The mom-of-two had a big night, as her movie The Lost Daughter, which she wrote and directed, won four of its five nominations, including Best Feature.
Dakota Johnson

The actress stepped out in a "divine skirt and top" by Oscar de la Renta. She revealed on social media that she did her hair and makeup herself just like she did for her flick President.
