From running her business Uncommon James to taking care of her three kids — sons Camden, 10, and Jaxon, 9, as well as daughter Saylor, 7 — it's safe to say Kristin Cavallari is one busy gal!

However, the businesswoman has a routine down after all this time. "In the last three years, I've finally figured out how to make it all work. Everything has sort of lined up. I hired my C-Suite team in the pandemic in March 2020, and it took about a year transition for everyone to really understand the company and for me to be able to walk away and start doing [my cookbook] Truly Simply. After that was done, I was able to do the podcast 'Back to the Beach.' I've been in a good groove," the 36-year-old exclusively told Morning Honey at the Chase Ink Business Premier event in New York on June 20. "Everything's just flowed really easily."

"I have my two buckets — I have my family bucket, and I have my work bucket and work never spills over into the family," she added. "I've been adamant about that since my divorce, and it works really well for me. That's how I stay sane and keep my time balanced, and I only do things if they fuel me and make me happy."

Clearly, the blonde beauty has dabbled in so many different projects, which is why she's "very happy with where my work-life balance is at."

"It's more life, and I'm happy because I've been hustling since I was 17," she shared. "I am about to announce something else that I am going to be doing, but beyond that, I have no idea [what the future holds]. Uncommon James doesn't take up as much time anymore, so I am enjoying being at all the flag football games and being mom, which makes me really happy."

Now that Cavallari has hired a great team to help her, she gets to do "all the fun stuff."

"I get to design all the collections and plan the photoshoots," she said. "I have a hand in marketing. I still hop on my leadership calls, and I know everything going on in the company. But I am no longer overseeing HR!"

"I don't need to know about every little single thing," she continued. "That's why I am paying people to handle other things, which is really nice. I'm very, very happy. But again, I owe it all to my team because if I didn't have the incredibly strong team that I have, I wouldn't be able to work on Truly Simple or the podcast. Because of my team, it's freed up my time to be able to do other stuff."

Recently, Cavallari spoke about the ups and downs of running a business and why using the Chase Ink Business Premier card has helped her thrive. "Chase came to me about this opportunity, and I was really excited," she said of sitting on a panel alongside Emma Grede (Good American, SKIMS) as well as the founders of Lovepop (Wombi Rose) and BLK & Bold (Pernell Cezar). "I'm always honored when people want me to speak in a business capacity, but this event was really about discussing our brands and how credit cards played a role in the early days of getting the company up and running and how we relied on them."

"I used credit cards in the beginning when Very Cavallari first aired. After the first episode, we sold out of all of our inventory, so I ordered a ton because we got so many online requests. I was like, 'We're going to have so many orders.' I ordered hundreds of thousands of pieces of jewelry, and I relied on credit cards for that," she explained. "When I opened my first store in Nashville, I relied on credit cards so that I could free up some capital to allow me to open up the store, and for other business needs, we relied on credit cards."

If the businesswoman didn't use the credit cards, she might have had to take on an investor, but she's "really proud" she's never had to do that. "I'm 100 percent the owner of Uncommon James, and I am very thankful for credit cards," she said.
