Megan Thee Stallion's Grammys Dress Features Cheetah Print & Tiger Stripes: See The One-Shoulder Frock!
Hear her roar! Megan Thee Stallion slayed the Grammys red carpet, arriving at the April 3 show in an embellished one-shoulder animal print dress. The interior lining of the piece featured tiger stripes while the exterior was a cheetah print.
She also wore two gold cuff bracelets and curvy gold earrings.
At this year's show, the Texas native's track "Thot S**t*" was up for for Best Rap Performance against Baby Keem & Kendrick Lamar's "Family Ties," Cardi B's "Up," J. Cole, 21 Savage & Morray's "My Life," and Drake, Future & Young Thug's "Way 2 Sexy." The tune "Family Ties" ended up coming out victorious.
At the 2021 show, she took home quite a few awards, including Best New Artist. In her acceptance speech, she praised her fellow nominees — such as Noah Cyrus and Doja Cat — and then thanked her fans and her late mother.
"I really just want to thank God, because thank you for putting life into my body for me to be able to even be here today. I want to say thank you for always being with me, being by my side. You know, it's been a hell of a year but we made it," stated the "Savage" rapper. "I really want to say thank you to my mama, she's not here with me today but I know she is here with me in spirit and she always believe I could do it, so thank you all so much."
At this year's show, she and Dua Lipa presented the Best New Artist trophy to Olivia Rodrigo, and fans can expect to see much more of the the "WAP" crooner in 2022.
"This year, I really wanna surprise the hotties. Not just in music, but in TV and film as well. I feel like I had to lay low for a little bit so I could gather my thoughts and do everything that I need to do," she explained to Elite Daily. "Now I'm ready to pop back out and it's about to be such a big year."
