The actress' movie centers on "Ani FaNelli, a sharp-tongued New Yorker who appears to have it all: a sought-after position at a glossy magazine, a killer wardrobe, and a dream Nantucket wedding on the horizon. But when the director of a crime documentary invites her to tell her side of the shocking incident that took place when she was a teenager at the prestigious Brentley School, Ani is forced to confront a dark truth that threatens to unravel her meticulously crafted life."
The flick also stars Connie Britton, Jennifer Beals and Scoot McNairy.
Author Knoll was elated when the casting news was announced this past February.
"After 6 years of relentless rewriting, rejections, studio changes, and tortuous periods of stagnation I am SO proud to share this news and SO excited to watch Mila Kunis bring Ani FaNelli to life," she tweeted. "Let’s make a MOVIE."
The luckiest girl alive, indeed! The Bad Moms star held hands with her handsome onscreen love.
Knoll is also acting as a producer and screenwriter for the movie.
Kunis and the American Horror Story actor sealed the day with a kiss.
In the real world, the actress is married to her That '70s Show costar Ashton Kutcher, while Wittrock wed college sweetheart Sarah Roberts in 2014.
