Napoleon Star's journey from childhood fame to educational entrepreneurship is nothing short of extraordinary. The former Tokyo-based model, singer and TV personality has seamlessly transitioned from the world of entertainment to the realm of innovative education with the launch of Voyage School — an ambitious global preschool concept that blends cultural diplomacy with high-end design.

"Our school is like a candy shop for learning,” says Star. "We want children to have hands-on exposure to the world's cultures, not just sit with textbooks." The school uses a unique World Diplomacy Program where children receive personalized passports and collect stamps as they learn about 150 countries through interactive lessons, embassy visits, and cultural field trips.

The inspiration for Voyage School came during a Chanel runway show in Paris when Star's mother, Rina Bovrisse, found herself juggling a high-powered fashion career with the demands of motherhood. "She was carrying me in a Chanel tote while navigating fashion events," Star recalls. "That moment sparked the idea of a 'lifestyle preschool' for jet-setting families who need educational consistency amidst constant travel."

Voyage School is now expanding beyond its Tokyo origins, with plans for campuses in Los Angeles, New York and Paris. "It's like a Soho House for education," Star explains. "Parents can move across the globe for work, and their children can transition between campuses without disrupting their learning."

The school's design philosophy reflects Star's roots in fashion. The uniforms are as stylish as they are functional, with silver-embroidered martial arts gi, linen shirts, and even personalized tie-dye options for creative expression. "Some parents admitted they were initially drawn in by the uniforms," he says, laughing.

Despite its high-end appeal, Voyage School remains grounded in community impact. Profits support local green tea farms and fund workshops that teach 3D printing — a technology close to Star's heart. "I struggled to express my ideas verbally as a kid," he shares. "3D design helped me communicate my thoughts, and I wanted to give that tool to our students."

Star's dedication to experiential learning has led to partnerships with industry giants like Apple, where students explore cutting-edge technology during field trips. "The world is changing rapidly," Star says. "We want our kids to feel comfortable with innovation, to understand the past through culture and the future through technology."

With his eye on international expansion and a curriculum that turns classrooms into cultural crossroads, Napoleon Star is redefining early education for the modern family — one passport stamp at a time.
