'My Life With the Walter Boys' Star Nikki Rodriguez Reveals How Sabrina Carpenter Inspired Her 2024 Beauty Routine
Nikki Rodriguez is dishing on how she maintains her glow.
The My Life with the Walter Boys actress, 21, revealed her must-have beauty products and how Sabrina Carpenter influenced her to be bolder with her makeup.
"I probably won’t leave the house without blush on,” Rodriguez admitted while citing the "Taste" singer's signature look. "She's definitely inspired me. I'm a blush girl in the summer."
The Netflix star pointed to Patrick Ta's blush duo line and Armani's cheek tints as her favorite shades. "You can never have too much blush," Rodriguez emphasized.
When it comes to keeping her skin healthy as a busy young actress in Hollywood, the brunette beauty swears by Aquaphor. "I'm really into skincare and being hydrated," she explained.
Besides blush, Rodriguez isn't keen on caking on the foundation every single day Instead, she opts for a more simple look by using SPF, tinted moisturizer and lip gloss. "I have the Brown Sugar little tube," the starlet said of her favorite shade.
As for Carpenter, she's been transfixing fans with her signature beat. The pop star's makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez recently gave a glimpse into how to achieve the highly coveted look. "We just think 'baby' and glow is what we really go for," the glam expert explained in a recent interview.
"[The look] is very early 2000s in a way, but in a more modern way," Gonzalez added. "It's very popstar. But it's also [real] skin — it's not a full-on contour, cut crease kind of a thing. I think that resonates; it's cooler, and it's fresher."
One of the prime elements of flawless complexation is using Armani's Luminous Silk. "It's light enough; it's buildable if I need to, but we tend to do a sheer coat of that," she added while noting how she uses a fluffy brush while dipping a sponge into the liquid. "The final step is going over everything with her fingers to make sure the base is even, and to give it that real skin texture."
For the blush, Gonzalez taps Luminous Silk Glow Powder Blush on the blonde beauty's cheek bones. "I warm up the skin before I do the cheek, so it gives shape to the face," the artist noted.
"It's important that everything looks like skin. I don't want to detect where things start or end. It's very important for me, everything has to be super blended — when you can't blend anymore, blend some more. Trust me, you could always blend more," Gonzalez advised.
