Take A Look Back At Olivia Rodrigo's Best Red Carpet Looks Ahead Of Her Grammys Debut — Photos!
On Sunday, April 3, Olivia Rodrigo will appear at the 64th annual Grammy Awards, which marks her first time attending the show. This year, the "Brutal" singer's debut album, Sour, received seven nominations including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist.
The 19-year-old celebrated the news with an emotional Instagram post.
"When I was younger, my family lived a few blocks from the staples center, where the Grammys took place every year. I would always walk outside the arena and look at the plaques on the ground with all the winners names in wide eyed wonder..." she wrote. "Many dreams have come true for me this year but this one is probably the most meaningful. thank you to everyone who has believed in me and supported the songs I write. and thank you to @recordingacademy for the recognition. I’m beyond humbled. truly a day I will never forget. so grateful aghhh❤️💜❤️💜."
Before she graces the red carpet at this year's show (which airs at 8 p.m. ET on CBS), check out some of her best fashion looks!
For her very first MTV Video Music Awards, the star stunned in Versace's strapless peach gown that featured a magenta tulle overlay. She kept the look simple by just adding a pair of butterfly earrings.
She took home three trophies at the show, including Best New Artist. "What an incredible night. thank u so much to all of u guys for making this happen," the crooner wrote on Instagram. "I’m the luckiest gal alive 💜🤘🏼."
On September 25, Rodrigo dropped jaws when she attended the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures' opening gala in a strapless black gown by Saint Laurent.
The black Calvin Luo frock the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actress wore to the Variety 2021 Music Hitmakers Brunch in December featured mesh details and a giant green bow. At the event, the teen was honored with the Songwriter of the Year award, which was presented to her by Avril Lavigne.
"I think it’s important for people like Olivia to give an honest voice to so many young women who are still discovering themselves," shared the latter. "Her songs are her truth, and you can really feel that. You can tell it’s real by the way all of her fans grab onto every single word."
Sequins, feathers and shine! The spaghetti-strap David Koma dress she wore to the 2021 American Music Awards in November was a similar hue to the color of her hit debut album Sour.
The brunette beauty unsurprisingly took home the Best New Artist trophy that night. "Thank you so much to the AMAs and to the fans who voted for this award. It means so much to me," she gushed at the time. "Writing songs is my favorite thing in the whole world, and I am so grateful for everyone who has embraced my music."
At the BRIT Awards this past February, the songstress gave off disco ball vibes in a shiny silver gown by Alexandre Vauthier.
For the March 24 premiere of her Disney+ special driving home 2u (a SOUR film), the superstar wore a black and baby pink corset dress by FANCi. She added matching arm gloves and sheer black knee-high socks to complete the look.
