Role Call! Reese Witherspoon & Ashton Kutcher Film Their Netflix Rom-Com 'Your Place Or Mine' In NYC — Photos
What a pair! This week, Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher were spotted in New York City to film separate scenes for their Netflix rom-com Your Place or Mine.
The movie follows two best friends, Debbie (Witherspoon) and Peter (Kutcher), who live on opposite coasts and have very different lifestyles. While Debbie likes her routine life with her son (played by Wesley Kimmel) in L.A., her buddy loves the hustle and bustle of NYC.
When they swap houses and lives for a week, they realize that what they thought they wanted may not not actually be what they need.

On October 4, the actress was all smiles as the cameras rolled. The mom-of-three wore a denim skirt, blue top, olive green jacket and carried a backpack.
A day earlier, she posted a photo of herself in Brooklyn, captioning the shot, "Heading back to my rom-com roots! Let’s do this! @netflix 🍎🗽🚖 #YourPlaceorMine."
"You look so cute," commented Gwyneth Paltrow, while Uzo Adbua wrote, "For the record, we’re all ok with this!"
Witherspoon's character looked a little lost while walking around.
Need a hand? After an outfit change, the Morning Show star lugged around a Louis Vuitton suitcase.
The Oscar winner looked like a woman on a mission as she made her way down the sidewalk.
Witherspoon just marked 30 years in Hollywood. "I had no idea the journey that lay ahead of me, but I am so deeply grateful for all the ups and the downs that brought me to this moment," she said, revealing she got her first role when she was 14. "I learned from all of them. And Thank YOU to everyone who has watched my movies, tuned into one of my TV shows or even said hi to me at the grocery store. I am so blessed to have fans who let me entertain them. Feeling very grateful for this journey."
Looking dapper! That same day, Kutcher filmed some scenes of his own in a three-piece blue suit. Judging from his attire, it's safe to say his character has a pretty important job.
In between takes, the Jobs star wore a face mask and chatted with the crew.
It was recently announced that Jesse Williams, Steve Zahn, Tig Notaro and Zoë Chao have joined the cast.
"Our entire Your Place or Mine team is thrilled to welcome these wonderful actors to the movie," said writer-director Aline Brosh McKenna. "They are supremely brilliant and talented and we can’t wait to embark on this journey with them.”
