ReVho Is a Club Created for 'Creative Minds' — and Located Minutes From Atlanta
After two years of distancing caused by the pandemic, social clubs are all the rage. And why not? A chance to meet like-minded people in a small, intimate setting sounds sublime, especially after seclusion. With Hollywood looking southeastward, it’s no surprise Atlanta would be next. The region is already home to its’ own Housewives franchise, Tyler Perry’s studio — and it's even where The Vampire Diaries was filmed. And now, it’s the setting to the area’s hottest venue ReVho, located minutes from Atlanta in Mariettam Ga. The brain child of Hollywood content/marketing mastermind April Q. Russell, the club was conceived as a sanctuary for creative minds, catering to artists, content creators, directors, influencers and other industry professionals.
“I wanted to create a distraction free modern space mixed with luxury for writers and creators — particularly women and people of color — to do real work and link with industry professionals and advocate their brand, increase relevance, elevate perception and ultimately impact culture,” said Russell, who recently moved her company, Revolutionize Hollywood, from Los Angeles to the Atlanta market.
ReVho is a community hub where guests can find inspiration and support. Its founder’s dedication to fostering an inclusive environment has made the club a popular spot for those looking to reconnect and collaborate in a post-pandemic world. The studio has quickly become a beloved fixture in the creative landscape of Georgia, embodying the spirit of innovation and camaraderie.
“ReVho feels like an imaginative playground with the comfortability of home, mixed with the sweet reward of luxury for like-minded individuals who command a healthy work-life balance so that creativity thrives,” Russell said. "An exclusive social scene for premier multi-cultural events and the best entertainment.”
Forging the path for creative entrepreneur business women, Russell’s experience as a business owner, actress, writer, producer and creative director have given her the tools to forge a path to pioneer an impactful and thriving lane in the entertainment and media industry. She is a hyphenate, or as she likes to call herself an ARTrepreneur. She also collaborates with some of the biggest brands in business, including Endemol, Viacom, Clear Channel, BET, Hyundai, Ford, Nick Cannon, Quincy Jones and more.
She also is working on a book series called BLAHOM, with the first edition, A Warrior Goddess, released in 2023. The reviews were effusive. “BLAHOM pulses with what readers want from the genre: palace intrigue, family secrets, grueling training exercises, and dramatic events all involving an engaging cast and set against a fresh and vivid alien world,” wrote Publisher’s Weekly.
