Exclusive: 'RHONJ' Star Melissa Gorga Reveals What Keeps Her Motivated After Launching Sprinkle Cookie Venture
Melissa Gorga turned an iconic television moment into a business!
Bravo fans will never forget The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 3 episode when Teresa Giudice questioned her sister-in-law's decision to bring sprinkle cookies to the family's Christmas gathering. Now, Gorga is putting her twist on the sweet treat.
The Envy boutique owner chats exclusively with Morning Honey about what keeps her motivated as an entrepreneur, launching Sprinkle by MG and the key to pulling off the perfect holiday gathering.
On top of being a fan-favorite in the reality world, Gorga runs a booming clothing store in New Jersey and takes part in numerous brand partnerships — on top of previously dabbling in the music industry. "My family and my daughter are my biggest motivation. I love her seeing the value of hard work. Creating businesses that can be passed down to my children and that they can be a part of now is extremely special to me," she says of what keeps her going.
With her latest venture, the "On Display" singer's loved ones continue to be her biggest source of inspiration. "Even before that unforgettable RHONJ moment, sprinkle cookies have been a beloved tradition in our family, especially during holidays and celebrations. Sprinkle cookies have always been my absolute favorite, so I wanted to take something meaningful and nostalgic to me and turn it into the perfect version to share with my amazing followers," Gorga explains.
If you are looking to serve the festive confections at your upcoming gathering, the mother-of-three knows how you can make it even better. "I love pairing my sprinkle cookies with a sprinkle cookie martini! It’s a festive, fun drink that I whip up for guests during the holidays — it’s always a hit and adds a little sparkle to the season," she advises.
Gorga's guests at her upcoming celebrations will most definitely be treated to some amazing food since she knows her way around the kitchen. "My favorite part of the holidays is getting all of my friends and family together," she says.
"Christmas Eve is so special to me because we celebrate with the Italian-American tradition of The Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner. It’s such a beautiful way to connect and carry on traditions that mean so much to us," the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip alum notes.
"A fabulous holiday gathering is all about making your guests feel special," Gorga continues. "I always make sure no one leaves empty-handed, so I love putting together thoughtful gift bags. This year, they’ll be filled with Sprinkle by MG! It’s such a sweet way to leave a lasting impression and share a little love."
