Savannah Chrisley got honest about her struggle with endometriosis.

"I have had multiple surgeries. My last surgery I had was in Atlanta and there is a video," she explained of the footage she shared to her YouTube channel. "I talk about that process, of endometriosis and how tough it was on my body."

Chrisley emphasized how lucky she was to be able to use modern medicine to help her understand her condition and find her a pathway to motherhood when she's ready. "The doctor was like, 'You could very well get pregnant naturally, but you also could have a problem conceiving,'" the former beauty queen admitted.

Savannah Chrisley had 'multiple surgeries' to help her endometriosis.

"You won't have a problem carrying a child, but it's the conceiving aspect of it," she further recalled the doctor telling her. Despite the possible hurdles, Chrisley made it clear she has chosen "to be grateful for the things that are put in front of me like science and freezing my eggs and then IVF."

The blonde beauty was first diagnosed when she was 18 years old but didn't understand what was going on with her body at first. "I just thought the pain was normal. But then it just kept getting worse and worse," she said during a 2020 interview.

Savannah Chrisley was first diagnosed with endometriosis when she was 18.

"People who don’t suffer from it don’t really understand,” Chrisley noted. “They push it off and say that painful periods are just part of it. Other people don’t really get where you’re coming from, and you feel like you’re alone in it.”

Chrisley's condition took a significant toll on her not only physically but mentally. "There were days when I couldn’t get out of bed, and the pain was so bad that I would get nauseous and throw up,” she spilled. “I like to say I have a pretty high pain tolerance, but I had to keep a lot of it to myself because I had to get up and film and put a smile on my face. There was a lot of hiding how I felt, which didn’t help with my mental state.”

Savannah Chrisley said she was 'so grateful for science' to help her through her health struggles.

In the beginning, the reality star avoided sharing her journey because "you already feel like your body is just giving up on you.”

“It's hard to be vulnerable about that,” Chrisley explained. “Especially in today's world, whenever everyone posts great things on social media about how amazing life is, and I felt hopeless, and I was struggling so badly.”
