Shania Twain isn't afraid of getting older.

"I’m embracing aging. I’m fine with it. I don’t have a choice; I can’t change it. So, I decided that whatever I can’t change, I need to have fun with. Going gray is one of those things," Twain explained in a recent interview. "Of course, I can color my hair."

The "Up!" vocalist has experimented with her look and hair color over the years with wigs, which led her to a genius idea of what she wants to do when she fully goes grey. "The pink surprisingly made me feel younger, or look younger, somehow," she noted.

Shania Twain will be letting her hair go gray.

"And it’s so light, it’s practically gray. So that was a really good surprise. And when I’m entirely gray, if I ever do want to just hue my hair pink, I know I’m going to look great," Twain said.

The "You're Still the One" crooner first revealed last year what she planned to do with her signature tresses and how inventive she would be. "I'm playing more with color right now and I'm enjoying that because I'm going gray," she spilled in a 2023 interview. "As I go gray, I'm like, 'I might as well toy around with different colors.'"

Twain has continued to have a positive outlook when it comes to aging. "I think menopause was a very good thing for me because there were a lot more things changing in everything about me physically that I had to very quickly come to terms with," she revealed last year. "Menopause taught me to quickly say, ‘You know, it may only get worse. So just love yourself now. Just get over your insecurities — they’re standing in your way. And fear is standing in your way.'"

The chart-topper has always known the importance of being honest about her journey as a woman both in life and in her music. "I always sing about being fearless and all of that. I go there when I write," she said. "But I’m not living it the way I’m writing it. And I want to live the way I write. I’m more fierce than I ever was because I really demanded it about myself.”

Shania Twain said menopause was a 'good thing' for her.

"I’m the opposite from being an exhibitionist," Twain emphasized about her personal choices. "But I like to feel s---, and I like to enjoy my body more now than ever. I used to hate my body. So, when my body was young and, I guess, maybe one wouldn’t be afraid of exhibiting it, I was hiding it a lot."
