'Supermodels Unlimited' New York Fashion Show Promoted Inclusivity and Self-Love
One of the most attended shows during this year’s fall New York Fashion Week wasn’t a designer or brand, but a magazine that celebrates inclusivity and self love. Supermodels Unlimited, a glossy magazine that chronicles the fashion and modeling industry, brought more than 1,000 attendees to Times Square at 1604 Broadway on September 7 for a nightime extravaganza which included a model search, fashion show, and live performances.
“In a world that's rapidly changing, we need to stand together with love, respect and compassion,” said Kimberly Clark, Editor-in-Chief of SU Magazine. “We accomplished a show that signifies inclusion and humanity while admiring the art, fashion and music that unite us as a community. I want our future generation to know that it's okay to be different. Being unique is cool. Let's put aside our judgements and turn our differences into a celebration."
The evening kicked off with a high-energy performance from Big Boss Vette, who set the tone with her hit single, "Pretty Girls Walk." This was followed by The Unlimited Show, a groundbreaking runway presentation featuring designs from Justin Haynes (JUS10H), along with contributions from other standout designers such as Kelly Dempsey, PinkApple Dresses and The Couture Room. The show’s host, Jordan Kimball of The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise fame, kept the audience engaged with his lively presence.
In addition to the stunning fashion, the night concluded with a special performance by Emblem 3.
“Our event wasn't just a party, it was a glamorous night that celebrated the best of fashion,” said Clark. “We are brought together our most influential figures to toast New York Fashion Week and its best and brightest talents. This is truly where the stars align during one of the most exciting weeks of the year.”
With a perfect blend of fashion, music and high-profile guests, the "Unlimited Fashion Show" succeeded in creating an unforgettable experience that will be remembered as a standout moment in New York Fashion Week history.
