This year's most popular artists came together atVariety's fifth annual Music Hitmakers Brunch.
Big names like Lil Nas X and Tinashe were present at the December 4 event in Los Angeles, where Republic Records' Wendy Goldstein received the inaugural Hitmakers A&R Award.
While addressing the guests in her speech, she told rising stars to focus on the "special moments" of their career.
"Embrace them, savor them and parlay that enthusiasm and that excitement and that love into the next artist, the next song, the next album," she said. "Always keep moving."

The singer's mismatched plaid dress was perfect for an autumn evening in California.
"So very thankful for these inspiring and amazing artists, beautiful inside and out," she gushed of Normani and Chloe Bailey in an Instagram post.
Billie Eilish
The Grammy winner graced the carpet in a huge maroon coat and showed off her new hairstyle and brunette hue.
Later that night, she and her brother, Finneas, were honored with Film Song of the Year for the James Bond track, "No Time to Die."
Avril Lavigne
The pop-punk princess rocked her signature dip-dyed blonde tresses and an all-black ensemble, noting that she spent the day "surrounded by badass bitches."
Olivia Rodrigo
Clad in black dress adorned with a giant green bow, the "Brutal" singer accepted the trophy for Songwriter of the Year.
"To me it's a beautiful thing about art: How music can bring us all together and make us feel less alone," she said while accepting the honor, according to Variety.

The star, who was the recipient of the Decade Award, shocked fans when she stepped out in a Shein dress that cost less than $20!
Lil Nas X
The "Industry Baby" rapper was honored with the Innovator of the Year title for his LGBTQ+ advocacy.
Chloe Bailey introduced him to the stage with the words, "By being exactly who he is and commanding attention, by creating a universe that is both undeniable and exceptionally entertaining, he’s kicked in the door."
