Exclusive: 'Vanderpump Rules' Star Lala Kent Reveals How She's Staying Healthy and Hydrated While Pregnant With Baby No. 2
Lala Kent is spending her summer gearing up for her second child.
The Vanderpump Rules star, 33, has been basking in her break from filming the hit Bravo series while spending time with her eldest daughter, Ocean, 3, and keeping her health her number one priority.
Kent chats exclusively with Morning Honey about how she's maintaining her well-being before her big arrival, what's made this pregnancy different from her first, her partnership with Ninja Thirsti™ Sparkling & Still Drink System and how it's helped her stay hydrated.
"I'm hunkering down and enjoying the warmer months coming on with summer officially sinking in," the Give Them Lala author says. "I sit by the pool, I enjoy my bump, I have my pear and lavender hydration drink. It's great."
Although Kent admits she's "tired" and suffering from a bit of "heartburn" this time around, the most vital aid has been drinking loads of water. "This pregnancy is a lot different than when I was pregnant with Ocean because we were in the middle of a pandemic. There was a lot of time to chill," she notes of keeping up with her toddler.
"This pregnancy, I still have to work and live life. Whether you're a mom or not, it's difficult to stay hydrated," the reality star explains. "I find that having my Ninja Thirsti™ pretty much in every room has helped. It's the perfect way for me to keep going."
Kent has collaborated with the company to create her own collection of flavor pods to give anyone's soda water beverage an extra boost. "I don't think it's a secret that I'm obsessed with my sparkling water," she quips. "So much so that I've now passed it onto my daughter who, when I give her flat water, tells me, 'It's melted. it's old!' She also likes her bubbles."
"I'm very particular about my sparkling water. You guys saw this past season [on Vanderpump Rules] when I had my water sommelier come. I like what I like, and I don't like what I don't like. But the moment the Ninja Thirsti™ came to be, it was the perfect partnership for so many reasons," the "Feeling You" songstress reveals.
"Number one, sparkling water is just a no-brainer for me, and number two, I am sober, but whether you're sober or not, you still want to have fun with your drinks," she says. "When this came to me, I was like, 'You're telling me I can have all of these different flavors and I can pick from hydration, vitamins and energy?' It was just something for me to play with, and I thoroughly enjoyed it."
