If you're a fan of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux — a full-service family sports bar founded in 2003 in Baton Rouge that calls retired New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees a co-owner and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott a franchisee investor — then we've got good news for you!
The brand, which just opened a new location at Harrah's Las Vegas, is the first location to feature a full breakfast menu, and there will be new items such as French Toast Bacon Double Cheeseburger and Chicken and Waffles.
Of course, their staple dishes, such as Biscuits & Gravy and Beignets, will be featured on the menu. Since the restaurant is on the famous Las Vegas Strip, the company is bringing its unique flavor to the West Coast. Choose from made-from-scratch dishes, including Crawfish Etouffee, Duck & Andouille Gumbo, Voodoo Shrimp & Grits and Krispy Kreme Donut Bread Pudding.
"Our French toast bacon double cheeseburger is a showstopper. Two 8 ounce patties, served with American and bacon between griddled french toast. Our Peanut Butter Cold Brew Skrew is one of our favorite signature drinks. Skrewball peanut butter whiskey, cold brew coffee, maple syrup, and a whipping cream floater," Chef Mike Turner, SVP of Culinary and Supply Chain at Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux, exclusively tells Morning Honey.
As for why people should stop in and visit, Turner simply says, "It’s definitely a branding site for Walk-On’s – we’re excited to have a spot on the West Coast to host and introduce our game day of Louisiana to tourists from around the country."
"Our team of culinary experts has worked diligently to ensure that guests of this new location are welcomed with an authentic Louisiana experience," Brandon Landry, Founder and CEO of Walk-On's, added. "We've found a great partner in Harrah's Las Vegas, and it has been a pleasure working together on this project. And, with seasoned Vegas experts and Hash House A Go Go concept owners, Jim Nyberg, Jim Rees and Bill Underhill as our franchise partners, we're confident that this team will bring our made-from-scratch cuisine to life."
