Dan Humphrey, is that you? Whitney Peak and Eli Brown filmed HBO Max's reboot of Gossip Girl outside New York City's Public Theater on Wednesday, March 24.
The newcomers were all smiles as they filmed the teen drama near New York University.

Going somewhere fancy? Brown — who sported a light brown coat with blue pants and loafers — looked eerily similar to Penn Badgley's Gossip Girl character, Dan Humphrey. Peak, for her part, wore a black dress with black boots.
The brunette babe struck a pose and added a varsity jacket to her outfit.
So, what could Peak and Brown possibly be doing near the theater? According to Joshua Safran, writer and executive producer on the original CW series, “one of our episodes takes place at a show, so theatre exists in our [world]."
“It’s post-COVID in a fantasy world,” Safran recently told OK! about the show. “Masks are a thing that happened in the past.”
Another great thing about the new series — which will be 12 episodes — is that "there’s a lot of representation, which I can't say we saw a lot of in the first one," Peak revealed.
Earlier this month, the reboot was spotted filming on the famous Met Steps. At the time, Peak donned a cardigan and boots, while Brown sported a blue coat with an orange vest and khaki pants. Could a romance be brewing between the two? Only time will tell!
Of course, fans really want to know if any original cast members such as Blake Lively, Penn Badgley or Leighton Meester will appear on the small screen.
“We’re trying to have cameos in every episode,” Safran told OK!. “There’s a fashion event in the pilot, so there are fashion cameos, there’s a charity event in episode 2. There’s a very big cameo in episode three. Big, to me! Luckily that cameo happens to be in New York — we just lucked out — and, frankly, we haven’t shot it yet, so for all I know that cameo could leave New York, and it would be difficult.”
